New in 2014- Yoga/Pilates, Spearit Movement

Tickets for All Events will be available at the Festival. Join us for a beautiful day!

Help kick off the festival and fill the south side of the Hadley Common with the biggest Bunch of Yogis ever assembled on the Hadley Common. Join PBS’s Peggy Cappy and Mehga Nancy Buttenheim for an hour of gentle morning yoga.

Peggy Cappy is known for her popular yoga programs on public television and Mehga Nancy Buttenheim is the founder of Let your Yoga Dance. Together they’ll be leading this special group class to benefit WGBY. We’ll start with some Gentle Yoga and then some Let your Yoga Dance as the Spearit moves us.

Peggy & Mehga will lead you through an hour-long gentle yoga class. It’s a great class for beginners and everyone interested in exploring a gentle practice. This class includes basic breathing exercises, as well as a variety of foundational postures (standing, seated, and on the floor).

Yoga and other movement classes will continue throughout the day, including a special Master class with Peggy Cappy and Megha Nancy Buttenheim at The Pilates Studio.

Children are welcome (under 12 free), Bring your friends, a yoga mat, blanket and block if you want them. We will have a chair section so please let us know if you’d like to reserve a chair.
